Director, Technical Revenue Accounting

Figma is seeking an experienced Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to lead complex ASC 606 assessments, develop technical revenue memos, and collaborate with cross-functional partners. The role requires a strong command of US GAAP and SaaS revenue models, as well as the ability to evaluate complex contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment.

Requirements

• CPA certification with 12+ years of progressive accounting background
• Deep expertise in technical revenue accounting under ASC 606
• Strong command of US GAAP and SaaS revenue models
• Proven ability to evaluate complex contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment
• Track record of influencing and defending accounting positions with external auditors and senior stakeholders
• Skilled at translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-accounting audiences
