Files.com is seeking a seasoned VP of Product Marketing to lead the charge in defining our product positioning, competitive narrative, and customer messaging. The role is high-impact, strategic, and deeply cross-functional, requiring precision storytelling that drives growth.
Requirements
- Shape and continuously refine Files.com’s voice, positioning, and value prop to win the minds and budgets of IT buyers.
- Identify and articulate our ideal customer profile — understanding what drives them, what keeps them up at night, and why they choose (or leave) vendors.
- Build clear, consistent narratives that translate across the website, sales materials, content, and campaigns.
- Ensure Product, Sales, and Marketing are aligned with cohesive positioning and sales narratives.
- Create and guide development of competitive battlecards, persona-based decks, whitepapers, and use case documentation.
- Regularly analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to fine-tune our story and strategy.
- Collaborate with Product to ensure roadmap and marketing align with real user needs.
- Lead thought leadership and outbound messaging efforts to position Files.com as a category leader in Managed File Transfer (MFT).
