The Duty Engineer is responsible for effective operations and maintenance of the physical plant, Kitchen and Laundry equipment, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation system of the resort as well as its building decoration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional engineering license or certification is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of technicians and maintenance staff.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
