Financial Accountant

Financeit is looking for a detail-oriented and curious Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll have ownership of day-to-day accounting activities, build a strong understanding of our consumer lending operations, and support accurate, timely financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA designation is strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills are a must (v-lookup, pivot tables, sumif)
• Knowledge of IFRS concepts and day-to-day accounting is required
• Experience with Accounting ERP systems and Google Looker is an asset
• Previous audit experience is considered an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, takes initiative, dependable, with a mindset for continuous improvement
• Experience in financial services or lending is an asset
