The Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in the execution of utility construction projects, overseeing field operations, guiding project teams, and ensuring that all work aligns with safety, quality, and financial objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in utility or construction projects
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment, such as backhoes, loaders, plows, and excavators
- Familiarity with operating in both urban and rural project environments
- Strong understanding of project management, resource allocation, and team leadership
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams in high-pressure settings
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Capability to adapt to new tools and technologies in the field
