Job Description
As a Labour Relations Advisor with Finning Canada, you will work with business leaders, HR representatives and union representatives across multiple regions and business units, providing advice and guidance on labour relations fundamentals, collective agreement interpretation/application, and training to front and mid-level leaders.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in human resources management, labour relations management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in human resources, coupled with a minimum of 3 years working in an unionized environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and comfortable navigating in HRIS.
- Knowledge of pertinent legislation and case law.
- HR designation (CPHR) or significant progress towards completion considered an asset.
- Knowledge of HR Programs, Policies & Procedures coupled with business acumen.
