Job Description
The Shop Technician is responsible for testing, filling, and hydrotesting portable fire extinguishers and suppression cylinders, ensuring compliance with NFPA and code requirements in a fast-paced service environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of related experience
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow shop safety procedures
