Job Description
Fireblocks is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join its New York City office. This role will focus on researching and integrating blockchain technologies into Fireblocks' platform, establishing foundational infrastructure, and collaborating with developers and foundation members to integrate new features. The position involves both blockchain solution design and integration with existing Fireblocks systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend development experience in modern languages (Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of consensus mechanisms, cryptographic primitives, and distributed systems
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API design
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills
