Job Description
Join First American's Data & Analytics division as a Data Science Intern and gain experience in a corporate environment. The internship is a 10-12 week paid internship from June – August, 2026, which can be worked from an office or remotely. As a Data Scientist Intern, you will work on project-based roles to gain varied experience on numerous software development projects, including model development, operations testing, and scripting.
Requirements
- College/University students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programs with 0-2 years' of work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
- Proficiency with RDBs and hands on experience developing high performance SQL queries
- Proficiency with R, or Python preferred
- Ability to solve problems, be detailed oriented and be conscientious about all work completed
- Experience with large datasets
- Excellent interpersonal skills
