Controls Engineer

First Quality is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for its McElhattan, PA facility. The successful candidate will design, implement, and upgrade complex controls systems and software programming on production equipment. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, OEMs, and vendors to achieve plant performance results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 8 years' experience with Industrial Controls Systems
• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory, PLC based hardware and software, servo control, and HMI
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems
• Formal training in Functional Machine Safety and Security in Automation (ISO 62443)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
• Root Cause Analysis Experience (preferred)
