First Quality is seeking a Project Engineer to lead manufacturing capital and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects that improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and facility operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field), or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 3–7+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical/process, or industrial engineering environment
- Experience managing capital projects and budgets
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement tools
- Proficiency in project management software and CAD systems (preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to changing/growing processes
- Ability to support in responsibilities outside the defined role/title
- Experience with automation, process optimization, or equipment validation
- Familiarity with GMP or regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
