Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer at FIRST RF. In this role, you will work as part of a team building cutting edge antenna prototypes and products.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and test embedded electronics for advanced active RF prototypes and products
- Develop and test firmware to support hardware architecture, integration, and verification
- Perform hands-on characterization and validation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other electronic test equipment
- Participate in schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and board bring-up activities
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, RF Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and iterative design improvements across the full product lifecycle
- Document design decision, test results, and technical findings for internal teams, management, and external customers
- Contribute to high-level system design as experience grows
- Assist in developing automated test set-ups and data analysis workflows to improve engineering efficiency
