Job Description
This Risk Management Officer role is focused on facilitating OR understanding, leading OR initiatives, and ensuring compliance and operational risk management within the organization. The role requires proactive communication with internal stakeholders and escalating significant risks to the appropriate parties. The position will also contribute to designing and implementing compliance and monitoring plans.
Requirements
- To be the source of reference within the Group/Dept. in facilitating and promoting the understanding of OR and compliance requirements.
- Lead and support implementation of OR initiatives for the Group/Dept.
- Proactively communicate with the GH/DH and BORM on operational risk issues.
- Escalate significant events to GH/DH /BORM/Business Head as appropriate.
- Coordinate and consolidate operational risks/issues and loss reporting.
- Design and implement control measures and monitoring plans for compliance and operational risk management.
- Perform periodic business monitoring activities and escalate findings.
- Assist BORM in the implementation of OR framework or other relevant OR initiatives.
