Job Description
FirstEnergy is seeking a Portfolio Development Engineer to join its Transmission Capital Portfolio Team. This role involves identifying, on-boarding, tracking, and prioritizing transmission capital projects within a 10-year portfolio, working with project sponsors, and managing the finances, scopes, and in-service dates of these projects. The engineer will perform data mining, reporting, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure active portfolio management and a smooth delivery process.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering (BSEE, BSME, BSCE) or equivalent.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Engineering experience.
- Demonstrated analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of Qlikview/PowerBI reporting and SAP data mining is required.
- Basic researching skills required.
