Job Description
FirstEnergy is seeking a Real Estate Attorney to provide general real estate law counseling to its business units and utility subsidiaries. The attorney will represent the company in real estate transactions, tax proceedings, and disputes, and will have responsibility for their independent case load before state and federal administrative agencies and in state and federal courts.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years professional work experience
- Bar admission to one or more of the following states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, West Virginia
- Experience in real estate law and property law
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and with varying backgrounds
