Job Description
Relay Technician Jr position with FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company. Assist with installation, testing, calibration, and maintenance of protective relays and electrical circuits. Perform duties such as observing and manually initiating protective control functions, checking and testing controls for reclosers, and becoming familiar with Electrical Tagging Rules.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Valid PA Operator's License or equivalent
- Significant electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to analyze electrical control and protection problems
- Passing qualifying examinations
