Job Description
FirstEnergy is seeking a Senior Advisor to work within their External Affairs group, advancing the company’s interests with state and local stakeholders. The role involves leading an in-state external affairs team, analyzing legislative and regulatory activity, building relationships, and shaping company policy. The position offers a key member of a growing team, focused on the New Jersey service territory.
Requirements
- Lead and oversee FirstEnergy’s engagement in state and local legislative, regulatory, and community affairs.
- Identify policy priorities through internal stakeholder engagement.
- Manage a multi-issue policy portfolio.
- Build content for advocacy campaigns.
- Develop or oversee the creation of content for internal and external communications.
- Represent the company at fundraising events.
