Job Description
FirstEnergy is hiring a Service Worker Relief (Journey Line Worker) in Boyertown, PA. The position involves building and maintaining electric power systems, restoring electric service, and performing tasks such as climbing poles, working in confined spaces, and splicing cables.
Requirements
- Completion of a federal or state sanctioned line worker apprenticeship
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Passed DMV medical exam
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- At least two years' experience as a Lineman 1st Class - Hot Stick
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work and drive in all types of weather and road conditions
- Capable to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
