Fisher Associates is seeking a Technical Manager-MV Electrical Engineering to lead medium-voltage (MV) renewable energy engineering and design for utility-scale and commercial renewable energy projects. The role involves providing senior-level electrical engineering leadership, overseeing design QA/QC, and delivering safe, reliable, high-quality renewable energy infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- 15+ years of electrical engineering experience supporting renewable energy and power generation projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with solar PV, BESS, wind, and renewable EPC projects
- Proven expertise in short circuit, load flow, grounding, protective coordination, cable sizing, ampacity, and equipment sizing
- Ability to read and interpret MV/HV single-line diagrams (SLDs)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, PVCase, PVSyst, ETAP, SKM, and Civil 3D
- Strong working knowledge of IEEE, NFPA, NEC, and NERC codes
- Understanding of renewable and conventional power plant regulatory environments, DC/AC systems, and interconnection processes
