Job Description
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst for coverage of the Consumer & Retail sector based out of Mexico City or Monterrey office. The Analyst will perform data analysis, financial statement forecasting, and qualitative analysis to support existing ratings, new rating mandates, and research publications.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree at minimum
- Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written)
- Exposure to financial statement analysis in a work or classroom setting
- Strong understanding of Excel and Word
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
- CFA candidate preferred, CFA/CPA a plus
