Job Description
Project Engineer - Capital Projects for Engineering services. Providing day-to-day construction leadership on a GMP manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with AbbVie's standards, regulatory requirements, and site operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- At least five (5) years of experience supporting engineering departments within the Pharmaceutical Industry or GMP facilities
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (verbal/written)
- Experience in construction and complex industrial facilities, including safety elements
- Familiarity with Utilities and building systems common in GMP facilities (mechanical, electrical, process utilities) and their impact on both safety and operations
- Coordinating construction in or near live production environments, including shutdowns, tie-ins, and work in controlled areas
