Server

The Server is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. They must work with the team to manage low ticket times and food quality, and anticipate guests' needs throughout their meal.

• Handles cash and credit transactions of guests
• Ensures all orders sold are accounted for in the POS
• Works with management team to achieve year over year growth and profitability
• Executes programs to lead to increased sales, profitability and guest satisfaction
• Understanding of all menu items and the ability to upsell
• Ensures areas are free from hazards that would potentially injure staff or guests
• Follows all guidelines to avoid over-serving alcohol to a guest
• Checks the ID of every patron, as to not serve alcohol to minors
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
• Ability to calculate figures amounts such as discount, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, cost, and tip share
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
