Senior DevOps Engineer

Join Five9 as a Senior DevOps Engineer to shape the infrastructure and tooling that powers our cloud contact center at scale. You'll design, build, and maintain public and private cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Software Development Life Cycle experience, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
• 5+ years of public cloud experience (GCP or AWS)
• 3+ years of systems and networking experience
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, and Docker; experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows is essential
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or other scripting languages; experience with Go (Golang) is a strong plus
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tooling including GitLab, Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar
• Familiarity with config management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience with Incident Management processes and SRE best practices
• Demonstrated ability to independently scope, prioritize, and execute complex infrastructure projects with minimal oversight
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
