Job Description
We're looking for a Janitor to keep our buildings neat and clean at all times. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work. This is a full-time position with benefits, paying $17.00-$17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
- Dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
- Washes and replaces blinds.
- Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
- May remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly.
- Must maintain a neat appearance.
- Must be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the clients.
