FL106 is seeking a highly motivated Scientist for In Vivo & Translational biology to lead the design and execution of rigorous in vivo and ex vivo assays in support of novel drug delivery technologies.
Requirements
- PhD in Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred
- Extensive hands-on experience with in vivo biology in small rodents (mice required; rats preferred)
- Proficiency in high-throughput animal handling, injection techniques, and tissue harvesting and processing (IV, subcutaneous required other routes of administration – e.g. IM, IVT, IT, preferred)
- Experience with non-invasive in vivo imaging technologies, including bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging, strongly preferred
- Experience performing whole-body perfusion,single cell organ digestion, and cell sorting strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in protein and/or nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) isolation from mammalian cells and tissues, cDNA synthesis, and qPCR
- Experience with histological techniques, including tissue preparation, staining and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, including sample preparation, panel design or execution, data acquisition, and downstream analysis, strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot biological assays
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to experimental rigor and reproducibility
