Senior Research Associate, Cardiometabolic Discovery

Quotient Therapeutics Ltd is a privately held, early-stage company developing a novel genomics platform and therapeutics for diseases with a large unmet need. We are seeking a motivated and creative Senior Research Associate to join our team focused on performing in vitro studies to characterize novel somatic variants in the context of Cardiometabolic disease.

Requirements

• Perform a variety of laboratory experiments, including cell-based assays, molecular biology techniques, and sometimes in vivo studies, to validate new targets and test drug candidates
• Utilize techniques such as RNA purification, qPCR, ELISA and Western blotting to analyze cellular and molecular responses
• Assist in the design and optimization of research protocols to validate therapeutic targets
• Collect, analyze, and interpret scientific data, with a strong ability to use tools like Excel and GraphPad Prism
• Maintain a detailed and up-to-date electronic lab notebook and write high quality experimental protocols
• Work in a team-oriented environment, sharing findings and collaborating with other scientists
