Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Operator in the pipeline industry, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery to support the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems.
Requirements
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, cranes) to perform tasks like trenching, grading, and material handling.
- Pipeline Construction Support: Assist in the excavation, installation, inspection, and backfilling of pipelines, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards.
- Maintenance Activities: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training programs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
