Single-Hand Yard Welder

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Single-Hand Welder to join our team in Midland, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills and will be responsible for welding steel and piping components.

Requirements

• Weld pipes in accordance with project specifications, industry codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME B31.3), and safety standards
• Use shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), or other welding processes as required.
• Perform pipe fitting and prep work, including cutting, beveling, and grinding.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and integrity requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Collaborate with the yard crew and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Must be able to pass a visual or X-ray weld test (certification not required)
