Stramit is seeking an experienced National Credit Manager to lead its Credit and Claims function across the business. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on performance, risk management, and continuous improvement, and will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and protecting working capital.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading a complex credit function, ideally in a national or multi-site business
- High levels of resilience, with the ability to manage pressure, challenge constructively and navigate difficult conversations
- Strong stakeholder influencing skills, including the confidence to push back and gain alignment across the business
- Experience working within manual or legacy processes, with a demonstrated focus on continuous improvement
- Outstanding people leadership capability, with a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and distil complex information
- Minimum 10 years' experience in credit management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Degree qualification or Credit Management certification (desirable)
