Corporate Customs Compliance Coordinator

Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry. The Customs Compliance Coordinator is responsible for performing customs compliance-related duties on a professional level.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in a customs brokerage setting or in a manufacturing setting with customs compliance responsibility
• Minimum 5 years of experience in classification of goods for customs purposes
• Certified Customs Specialist or Certified Trade Compliance Specialist required
• Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong working knowledge of US Customs laws and/or willingness to learn
• Strong working knowledge of Free Trade Agreements / USMCA
• Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
• Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize
• Must be highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail
