Job Description
Flex-N-Gate is looking for an experienced Functional Safety Engineer in Allen Park, MI. The role will ensure the implementation of functional safety standards and practices in exterior lighting components and other automotive components. The successful candidate will lead functional safety engineering activities and develop technical work products.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in embedded software engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science engineering.
- Automotive electronic systems or related industry experience developing requirements, software, or electronic hardware systems.
- Experience applying system safety standards including ISO26262 up to ASIL D
- Experience developing and reviewing functional safety content requirements and architecture
