Process Technician

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for processing functions according to machine parameters to support the molding function, including setting up and maintaining controls on molds, presses, and other equipment.

Requirements

• Follows work instructions and oral direction.
• Monitors and adjusts cycle times on assigned machines as directed by production supervisor.
• Ensures color changes and mold changes are completed correctly prior to starting the press.
• Assists the molding Supervisor.
• Trouble shoots and root causes any technical issues.
• Documents all process changes in process log.
• Identifies and separates purge as outlined in the purge process.
• Tracks and records change over times, set up times and scrap.
• Performs general housekeeping duties as required in work areas as designated by supervisor.
• Assists in setup of workstation during a mold change or as required or instructed by supervisor.
