
Job description
The Laboratory Technician provides technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines. The role involves carrying out fundamental tests as part of the scientific team.
Conduct routine and non-routine tasks, record and report data, interpret test results, perform visual inspections, calibrate equipment, and participate in investigations and audits.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of laboratory techniques, terminology, equipment, and materials, as well as good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
