Job Description
Supports plant-wide quality improvement efforts, evaluates and develops improvement techniques for quality and reliability, and maintains and reports on quality management systems.
Requirements
- Preferred certifications for Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Preferred 3-5 years' of related work experience in Welding (spot, projection and MIG) at automotive industry
- Knowledge of CQI 15
- Knowledge of Six Sigma
- Knowledge of Welding process, machines, tools, including design and uses
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office and the use of statistical software
- Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize
- Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required
- Troubleshooting ability is required
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated good internal and external customer service skills
