Quality Engineer

Flex is looking for a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and execute quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new and existing products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional leaders, leading and mentoring teams, and ensuring quality of newly designed products and resolving issues in products already in production.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Engineering or a related field
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, especially with high-reliability products
• Experience conducting internal and external audits and knowledge of auditing methodologies
• Strong ability to support and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Solid understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes for electronic components
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume production environments
• Leadership experience managing technicians and auditors in multi-shift operations
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong command of quality tools and methodologies including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and 8D problem solving
• Customer-focused mindset and experience working with quality standards such as ISO
• Demonstrated ability to monitor, analyze, and report Quality KPIs
