Job Description
Flex is building a finance super app for business owners, reimagining financial workflows and services for entrepreneurs. The company has experienced rapid growth and is targeting a $1T revenue opportunity. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work across the entire stack with a focus on the back-end, contributing to the development of financial products and experiences and having a significant impact on technical design and engineering culture. This is a fully remote role open to candidates from Canada, the United States, and Colombia.
Requirements
- Proficiency in NodeJS+Typescript and server design principles.
- Understanding of architectural patterns for highly available, scalable, low-latency, asynchronous systems.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide in-depth evaluation of multiple technical directions and determine tradeoffs.
- Exposure to modular monoliths and micro-services.
- Experience with any cloud based provider like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Four or more years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience building and shipping a working project or product.
