Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician responsible for routine maintenance on buildings and machinery, operations of heating system, and upkeep of air compressor. Must be able to work well with others, follow requests, and be self-directed. Must possess good organizational skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with others and possess good organizational skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn.
• Must be able to follow requests and be self-directed. Work alone and in a team environment.
• Must be available for snow removal or other work-related issues outside of their normal work hours.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• High school education and knowledge of maintenance procedures.
• Good basic knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electricity, plumbing, and custodial skills.
• Must possess a knowledge of factory safety (OSHA) and environmental (EPA) procedures.
• Must follow ALL Flexaust handbook policies.
• Provide your own personal hand tools.
• Industrial maintenance background.
• Electrical knowledge is required (120, 230, 480 volts)
• Valid Indiana driver's license.
• Able to pass all PIV training and LOTO.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel repetitively.
• Lifting 50-75 lbs.
