Applied RL Engineer

We're building the intelligence layer powering humanoid robots at Flexion, and we're looking for an Applied RL Engineer to join our AI Engineering team.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of deep learning fundamentals, in particular reinforcement learning concepts
• Proficiency with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch) and physics simulators (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo)
• Hands-on experience in robotics; prior work with humanoids or legged robots is a strong bonus
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with a focus on writing production-ready code
• Experience with experiment versioning tools like Weights & Biases, as well as deployment infrastructure, like Docker, Linux environments, Git
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain probabilistic AI behaviors to partners and non-technical stakeholders clearly
• Familiarity with ROS2 and/or DDS is a plus
