Job Description
The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing Process Safety services to the Flexsys Kuantan Malaysia site, focusing on ensuring safe operations. This role involves developing and maintaining Safety Management Systems, conducting PHAs and LOPAs, and providing training to site personnel. The engineer will also contribute to process safety improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain Site Level Process Safety Management System.
- Support Manufacturing site with implementing and sustaining these programs.
- Develop and maintain Internal Process Safety Audit Program and evaluate/advise on audit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain Process Safety Knowledge Management System.
- Provide Process Safety input to Maintenance and Engineering departments.
- Conduct PHAs and LOPAs.
- Lead and support PHA resolution.
- Assist with Site Emergency Response Planning (ERP).
- Advise site management on regulatory requirements.
- Manage process safety documentation.
- Advise site engineering department on engineering standards.
- Serve as liaison between site and Global Process Safety group.
- Advise management on regulatory requirements and HSES.
- Work with business engineering partners on technology related topics.
- Advise management on HSES.
