Controller (Real Estate) - Full On-Site in Guadalajara MX

MezTal is seeking a highly experienced Controller to oversee the full accounting function across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial operations aligned with U.S. GAAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Industry experience in Senior Housing or Real Estate (required)
• Hands-on experience with Yardi (required)
• Advanced English (mandatory – daily communication with U.S. teams)
• Strong experience managing multi-entity or multi-location operations
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
