Job Description
FlightSafety International is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the development of geospatial software, encompassing various aspects from software creation and maintenance to data processing and integration. The role involves building technology for storage, transfer, conversion, and optimization of large datasets, focusing on realistic terrain, imagery, and 3D models within the aviation and geospatial industries. Strong software development skills and expertise in geospatial formats and data structures are key.
Requirements
- Create and maintain software for processing digital assets.
- Design processes to improve workflow efficiency and reduce errors.
- Build technology for storage, transfer, conversion, and optimization of large data sets.
- Processing of satellite imagery, aerial photography, mapping data, or terrain elevation
- Graphics programming: e.g. Unreal, Unity, OpenGL, Direct3D, HLSL, GLSL
