Casual Academic Register – Placement Facilitator (CNHS)

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking a Casual Academic Register - Placement Facilitator to support Nursing undergraduate and postgraduate student learning during their professional placement experiences. The successful candidate will establish and maintain professional relationships with venues and clinical teams, communicate with Topic Coordinators and students, and provide ongoing constructive feedback to students.

Requirements

• Australian Bachelor of Nursing Degree or higher qualification
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services – SA Government (or equivalent State or Territory requirement)
• Minimum of three years full-time clinical experience
• Experience of teaching and learning in a Registered Nurse role
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
• Problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Knowledge and/or experience in using technology such as Microsoft Office programs and interactive online technology
• Willingness to travel between clinical venues
