Compressor Technician

Role Overview

The Mid-Level Compression Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial gas compression and engine systems. This role requires solid mechanical skills, growing diagnostic ability, and the ability to work independently within established procedures.

What You Will Do

Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial gas compression and engine systems, follow safety policies and procedures, and utilize advanced precision measurement and alignment tools.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of hands-on experience with industrial gas compression or related mechanical equipment, and working knowledge of gas compression systems and mechanical components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with industrial gas compression or related mechanical equipment
• Working knowledge of gas compression systems and mechanical components
• Exposure to Ariel, Gemini, CAT, and Cummins equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic precision measuring instruments
• Developing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks with established procedures
