Job Description
The Overnight Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing warehouse operations, supervising warehouse personnel, and managing daily freight schedules. This role requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience and strong communication skills. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring warehouse safety, maintaining equipment, and resolving discrepancies with shipping and inventory.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
