Vice President, Corporate Controller

Floor & Decor is a leading high-growth specialty retailer of hard surface flooring seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead a high-performing accounting organization and strengthen the company’s financial foundation during sustained growth. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, advance systems, and automation to support increasing scale and complexity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required); CPA certification (required).
• Minimum of two years in public accounting (audit).
• Seven or more years in a controllership or senior accounting role, preferably in a public company.
• Leading and developing a high-performing accounting organization including direct oversight of corporate accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable, and tax.
• Strong expertise in SEC filings (including 10K and 10Q reports), financial reporting, ERP system implementation, and a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and federal/state regulations.
• Demonstrating integrity, sound judgment, and credibility with executive leadership and external stakeholders, fostering a high-accountability, collaborative culture.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers and support capital allocation decisions
