Engineering Manager

FloQast is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of strong engineers and tech leads working on the core FloQast platform. The role involves mentoring staff engineers, unblocking complex technical problems, and driving strong engineering decisions across the team. The team will build AI-powered product capabilities, drive AI-first development, and raise the technical bar by participating in architecture reviews, system design discussions, and major code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience
• Experience operating large-scale SaaS platforms
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and data models
• Comfortable debugging production systems
• Ability to review complex pull requests, discuss architecture tradeoffs, and guide engineers through difficult technical problems
