Job Description
FloQast is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to their platform group and develop core platform services for accounting applications. The role involves architecture, technical leadership, product partnerships, mentorship, and system excellence. This is a hybrid position based in San Jose, CA. Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend and frontend technologies like Go, Node.js, TypeScript, React, MongoDB, and AWS
- Experience designing and implementing scalable distributed systems
- Strong product sense and ability to balance technical excellence with business impact
- Track record of mentoring engineers
- Experience working with product, UI/UX design, and cross-functional teams
- Experience navigating ambiguity and driving projects from conception to production
