Processing Engineering Manager

The Processing Engineering Manager will lead the execution of allocated Engineering projects in the New Century and Brantford plants, conduct assessments, and generate order-of-magnitude costing to provide project feasibility insights. The role will direct the change management process, lead project planning and execution, and identify and implement value-creating manufacturing initiatives that require Capital Expenditure.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in Engineering: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
• Must come from a food and beverage background
• Excellent Project Management Skills
• Good knowledge of Food Safety and GMP Standards
• At least 7 years of experience in a technical FMCG Engineering environment
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in understanding & applying global Industry Engineering standards, process technologies, project methodologies & specifications.
• General knowledge of food/beverage process and packaging technologies
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, and cultivate strong working relationships across the organization
• Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to influence the technical community within the organization over a wide cultural geography
• Team player, self-motivating, able to deal with high levels of uncertainty & complexity, cultural sensitivity in responding to different cultures
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and changing environment, and effectively establish and react to changing priorities.
