Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist will support the university's financial operations through general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. The role will assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, perform general ledger and account reconciliations, and provide end-user support on accounting-related inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization
• One year of appropriate experience
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems; Workday experience
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills
