Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions and Associate Professor/Full Professor

The Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions and Associate Professor/Full Professor to lead the Office of Student Affairs, oversee medical student recruitment, retention, and promotion, and ensure LCME compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for student affairs and admissions, providing academic and professional support services, and collaborating with the Office of Medical Education leadership.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Credentials that merit appointment at the rank of associate or full professor
• Florida medical license or eligibility for Florida licensure (preferred)
• Board eligibility or certification (preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in undergraduate medical school education
• At least 5 years of experience in medical student affairs and medical student recruitment (preferred)
